Strong tower – What does it mean? protection
God is Good, God is Faithful, God is a Strong Tower for me and for you!!
The verse we received for this week was “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high (far above evil)”, found in Proverbs 18:10. When God gives us/me a verse for the week, it means that I will need it; it is quite possible that I will face danger, so let’s prepare myself. So, I select few words that I will easily remember and go back to it quickly when needed for protection. The two words I chose were “Strong Tower’‘.
What is a Strong Tower?
No disturbance, no shaking, all is good, no worries, it can shake all around me, but with my “Strong Tower,” all things are steady. I even dream of a future full of God’s promises!!
Furthermore, since it’s a tower, it means that it’s really high, I am above events, circumstances that may try to push me down.
It also means that I am protected. If circumstances like thoughts try to distract me, I go back to my “motto” right away, the ”Strong Tower”, which sets me so high that I am FAR above evil.
This is great!! So this was my “motto” this week is “Strong Tower”. God is Good, God is Faithful, God is a Strong Tower for me and for you!!
