Clean my lenses

Last Sunday’s message was a reminder of a scripture that was given to us at the beginning of the year for the whole year: Philippians 1:19-20.  As part of the preaching provided, I was reminded to ”clean my lenses”. Yes, every day it is important to ask God to examine my heart because quite often there might be some “stains” that I am not aware of, and only God can tell me about them so I can repent and correct them.
It is my own eager expectation and hope, that [looking toward the future] I will not disgrace myself nor be ashamed in anything, but that with courage and the utmost freedom of speech, even now as always, Christ will be magnified and exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Also, some members shared their testimonies of the greatest miracle God did for them/us (I was one of them).  These moments are, for me, really important because I can testify of great miracles of how God delivered and healed me and others.  It was a clear reminder of the scripture (Phil. 1:20). It is my own eager expectation and hope, that [looking toward the future] I will not disgrace myself nor be ashamed in anything, but that with courage and the utmost freedom of speech, even now as always, Christ will be magnified and exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.”

Speaking freely with my own words in accordance with the Spirit of Truth, is a lot more important than I can possibly think.  I also need to be courageous for sharing all that God has done for me because quite often many people are/will be listening carefully, but will not believe.  So, I have to remember that it is never about me. It is about Him, so He can be magnified.

Last Sunday was a powerful celebration and I know that all the testimonies provided were of the utmost importance.
