“Be holy, for I am holy.”
In today’s sermon, Pastor reviews 1 Peter 1: 1-25, where Peter reminds all those who called themselves Christians of the Heavenly Inheritance that we have as children of God. We are reminded that we are called to be holy, that we should gird up the loins of our mind and be obedient to the word of God, as we are living our life Before God Our Father.
Finally, Peter reminds us that because our lives should be cleaned up by following the truth of God’s word, we should now love one another as Christ loved us – as if our lives depended on it. We should not find excuses because I knew life is no longer our old life, given that we are born again in Christ.
