In today’s message, Pastor Vickylextar shared a few stories, that gave us a true understanding of how we can be wrong when we are judging others and situations according to our filters, personal beliefs and perspectives, or our past experiences We were then invited to : We were also reminded of the will of God for our lives which is to REJOICE ALWAYS!!! There is always something to be grateful for! Video and Audio unavailable. Today’s message was a reminder that we carry the presence of God, therefore we do not need to call on His presence. He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We were also encouraged to choose to BE BOLD and CONFIDENT because we carry HIS PRESENCE! Today’s message was about being responsive to the Holy Spirit. We first spoke about helping our brothers and sisters struggling with sin to listen, help, and encourage with gentleness. We were also asked to take some time to reflect on our own lives. How much of the Word that we heard this year has been applied in our lives? Change starts from the inside and shows on the outside. Are we walking in the Word? We also spoke about not comparing ourselves to others. The race we run is with Christ. He is the standard. We are to evaluate our lives based on our own work and not that of others. Always keeping our focus on Christ! To be Spiritual is to be led by the Spirit- in helpings others through love and being responsive in our own lives so that we run this race well and accomplish all that Abba Father has for us. This week’s service was an intimate one. Reviewing the theme (What do you believe?) and the various scriptures we were given for the year (3 John 2; Philippians 1:19; Luke 8:5-15), we were challenged to see how far we have gone from the beginning of the year and to face the fact that individually and collectively, we made progress. However, we still have a long way to go. We were encouraged to press on because the year is not yet over and continue to lean on God’s strength, as He makes all things possible when we put our faith in action. Note: Due to the delicate nature of some of these conversations, this sermon will not be published, but you are encouraged to watch and listen to other messages available on our website. Today, Pastor Jonathan discussed the importance of doing everything with excellence and utmost diligence. Using Colossians 3:22-25 as our main reference, we are reminded to do all things as though we are doing it for God and not for human beings. We examined the life of Joseph, Jacob’s favourite son who was sold into slavery by his brothers and became one of Egypt’s greatest leaders all because he chose to live a life of integrity and excellence. We are challenged to do the same. Listen to this powerful message and be encouraged to live an exemplary life of purpose and excellence that will have lasting meaningful impacts on the world, while bringing glory to God. Watch and listen to this incredible service as we are reminded of the various ways we should be stepping in faith and making Christ our focus. This week we reviewed Peter’s letter to the people of God, in 2 Peter 1. In that letter, he reminds us Christians that God made great and marvellous promises so that His nature would become part of us. He reminds us that we must do all we can to show that God has really chosen and selected us. As we keep on doing that, we will not stumble and fall. In this message, our Pastor explained some of the promises God made us and taught us the importance of defending the divine nature we have in Christ, rather than dwelling in our flesh and defending our human nature. *Please note that due to technical difficulties during the recording, this message is only available in audio format. Today’s service was a private service where we all counted our blessings and discussed the great things God has done in our lives and the even greater things we are expecting and are already celebrating! God has been good to us, and to you! It’s important to continuously focus on the blessings we receive from God, rather than the situations we are in. The word of God says that by our faith we can be whole (Luke 17:11 onwards). In this service, we were encouraged to be strengthened in our faith and to continue to arise and shine in Christ! Have a blessed week. Watch this incredible healing service as we are reminded of the importance of turning away from all wicked things and humbling ourselves to live in the fullness of the healing that God has for us. Today, we reviewed the importance of leading our thoughts and submitting our minds to God. Most of our battles start in our minds and our only way to victory is submitting it to the truth of Christ. We saw how God encouraged Joshua and asked him to meditate on the Word, day and night, to ensure that he prospers in every way and leads His people well. Joshua choosing to trust God, resisting fear and meditating on God’s word at every given time and doing his part, led him to victory. We were taught as well that loving God with all our mind, strength and heart and seeking only to make Him proud leaves no room for the enemy to deceive us with thoughts that are not captive to God’s Powerful Truth. Listen to this message to further understand the power that is within us in Christ Yeshua and see how powerful and strong the Word of God is when we truly decide to truthfully apply it.
We always have access to Him. Even if we fall, if we simply humble ourselves and repent, we can have immediate direct access to Him. We were also reminded that when we truly understand what it means to carry the presence of God in us it determines:
