Today, Pastor Jonathan discussed the importance of doing everything with excellence and utmost diligence. Using Colossians 3:22-25 as our main reference, we are reminded to do all things as though we are doing it for God and not for human beings. We examined the life of Joseph, Jacob’s favourite son who was sold into slavery by his brothers and became one of Egypt’s greatest leaders all because he chose to live a life of integrity and excellence. We are challenged to do the same.

Listen to this powerful message and be encouraged to live an exemplary life of purpose and excellence that will have lasting meaningful impacts on the world, while bringing glory to God.

In today’s message, Pastor Jonathan gives us a practical perspective on being content. He teaches that it is not about settling for less, but rather about being in a state of gratefulness in all situations, choosing to put our trust in Christ!

He shares the story of Fanny Crossby, who had excellent reasons to be ungrateful, but her outlook on life and her grateful heart allowed her to have a blessed and fulfilled life. The result of her positive perspective opened the way for God to use her to bless us with many wonderful classic Hymns, like Blessed assurance!

Pastor Jonathan also shares practical actions in this message we can do daily to learn how to be content.

Watch this incredible service as we learn the importance of being so grounded in Christ that we continuously learn to live a life of Contentment.

Today’s message was focused on Thomas in John 20:18-29. Thomas is the one who would only believe that Yeshua had risen after he saw and touched the nail prints and His wounded side.  Do we find ourselves to be like Thomas? Must we first see before we believe? Pastor Jonathan encouraged us first to believe and not to doubt. Sometimes we don’t want to believe it because we might’ve been disappointed in the past. But “God does not lie; if He said it, He would do it!” Sometimes it’s our interpretation of how things should unfold, or sometimes we give up too early.

Today’s message is a reminder that “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” We don’t have to wait for lightning to strike before we believe Him. We should believe based on His track record and because of who He is. Listen to this message to start the year right. Let’s continue to put our trust in the One who is faithful and does not lie.

Today’s message sets the tone for the year! We looked at one of the 3 theme scriptures of the year,  Luke 8:5-15, which speaks of the Sower’s Parable.

Pastor Jonathan took us through the parable and presented the 4 possible states of our hearts and how we need to make sure that we evaluate our hearts regularly to ensure that our soil is a good environment for God’s word -the seed- to take root and grow.

We also learned that we do have a responsibility to make the right choices to keep our hearts ready for the word.

This year is The Year of Great Expectations – What do you believe?

We were reminded of the importance of what we Believe because it influences our actions, outcome, relationships and more!

We were challenged to take the time as the year begins to reflect on what do we believe about God, ourselves, 2021 and more!

We were encouraged to make sure that whatever we believe should be aligned with the word.

Watch this incredible service as we learn the importance of focusing our beliefs on Christ’s Word, as it’s the only unchangeable ground for us.

Letting go of jealousy and selfish ambitions
 & embracing gratitude.

In today’s message, we looked at the parable of the vineyard in Matthew 20.
Yeshua used parables to simplify the topics he was trying to communicate to his audience. This one highlights a topic that is very important even today: gratitude.

In the parable,  workers were only dissatisfied with what they had when they compared themselves to the others, just like Cain in Genesis, who only got angry when he compared God’s reaction to his sacrifice to that of his own.
When we compare ourselves, we are effectively saying that we deserve more than what others have. We are conditioned from an early age to compare ourselves with others, especially in social media.

We were encouraged to make sure we always have the right motivations for our actions.

We are to run our race as people that are called and people who know who God is.

Watch this incredible service as we learn the importance of letting go of jealousy and selfish ambitions & embracing gratitude.

Today’s message focused on the story of Lazarus and how we can be steadfast in our belief that God can do all things. We were challenged to ask ourselves if we genuinely believe in God and to revisit the expectations we have towards Him. Trusting in God is not the same as believing in man. God’s word is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow; it will not change, and He will not change His mind, especially about the plans He has for you!

If [we] trust Him, stay grounded in the fact that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28), [we] will see the manifestation of things, even beyond our understanding! – Pr. Jonathan Sowah

The question is, do you believe that God will be with you in and through every situation even when it looks like all hope is gone?

Listen to this message to find encouragement to trust God in your situation.

In today’s message, we were encouraged to give thanks, not FOR everything, but IN everything, which is a command from God. Does it mean everything is always A-OK?

The problem may not necessarily change but our attitude changing makes it easier for us to deal with the battles of life. – Pr. Jonathan Sowah

Giving thanks in everything means that through the fire, we must remember that God is with us, and we should draw strength from Him. We do that when we change our perspective from the issue to the things we can be thankful for – there is always something. We must walk through life, knowing that everything is a PRIVILEGE and not an entitlement. When we develop the attitude of thankfulness to God, our relationships with other people are better. No matter how hard things get, we should remember that God has been so incredibly good to us!

Listen to this message to find out how you can develop an attitude of gratefulness despite trying times, and practice this throughout the week!

Be Blessed!
